Revisiting Chapter One, The Modern Locale

Spring Break gave me the opportunity to explore and discover new places as well as eat at places I have dined in before.  Chapter One the Modern Locale, in Santa Ana is one of my favorites.  This restaurant serves seasonal items that will satisfy your palate.  Every visit is a different experience.   I've always eaten dinner here.  This time I was finally able to try their lunch menu.  I came here with my son, Nikko, who aspires to become a chef...so we indulged ourselves in trying something new.

For starters, we ordered appetizers or "Preface" as it's called on their menu.  To cleanse our palates, I ordered the specialty cocktail, Rosa Sinensis, and my son had a selection of brewed beer.  Many of the dishes have an influence from other parts of the world. This is what makes this dining experience so amazing!

So, if you happen to be in the Santa Ana area and would like to try something new, this is the place.  It is located in the Artist District on 4th and Broadway. Street parking is available.
